I have a he pump with a jetovator on it and the boat has a dominator will the jetovator fit on the dominator?
Floating through life like I'm on my boat with a beer in my hand!!

Good god why?
I don't feel it's worth the effort.... But yes you can adapt it.

What would be the right thing to do?? Impeller in uv is shot and needs to be rebuilt dominator looks fresh

Honestly, I would rather see you wedge the existing Dominator to work with your boat or better yet, Purchase a Place Diverter. Jetovators are just so wonky.... They really don't add much in the way of performance.

Then why are you worried about a Jetovator?

once you learn to drive the boat, let us know what it does. You can install wedges to get the boat to act the way you want as far as ride quality and attitude, they go between the bowl and the nozzle adapter where those bolts are...

but what are some of the differences between jetovator and a PD?
it seems i have a PD, but the controls of a jetovator. it has the little box with a power window motor in it.....etc.
my bowl is clocked....compared to the one pictured by the OP. those oil fill/drains....are both at top of bowl.

The Berkeley Jet-O-Vator is a pretty wonky piece.
The nozzle, unless you use a race one, hangs down and impedes flow. They are difficult to control because of the way they pivot, they're sloppy, just not a real refined design.
Even new Berkeley pumps come with the option of a Place Diverter.
For the effort involved, I would choose a Diverter over the Berk piece every time.

So... a Jet-o-vator trims first, and steers r-to-l second
When you do this, as the trim comes up (or down) the steering is affected, as it goes up, the nozzle will travel up AND to the left, if the steering stays centered. Steering input is required as trim is used. The technical term for this is: WONKY (Thanks Glenn)
On a Place Diverter, the diverter STEERS first, and trims second.
Having this setup, the elevation of the diverter (or lack thereof) does not affect the the steering, and further input from the steering is not required to maintain a steary (straight) course, with an elevation (trim) change.
On my JC pump with a PD, It has the electric over cable (jet-o-vator style) controls, along with the bowl turned 90*.
A Question for Glenn (or someone with more engineering skills than i) :
Could a standard Berk steering nozzle be 'cut and turned' 90* (between the steering and reverse pins), and set up the jet-o-vator at 90* to mimic the function of a Place Diverter? (steers first, trims second?)
