Simple Green and fine steel wool.  Works on everything that I needed to get out.

Muriatic acid and a 4" angle grinder.

No, really, don't try that, just kidding.

Yeah, but will it get the "Brown Out"?  ;D

The trick I have heard of is to put a sliced potato on it for a time, I know it works on rust, but no idea why. I had a customers boat come in that had an old rusty chain sitting on the rear jumpseat all winter, rusted the white vinyl to a nice orange, we tried the sliced potato on it sliced surface down and it was all but invisible in two days..

No clue what it did...(Thanks grandma!)  ;)

Never tried Magic Eraser stuff, but I use Bleche White, which is avaliable at any auto parts store, it's made for cleaning white walls on tires, but does a damn good job removing any stains from vinyl. its semi caustic, wear gloves and dont breathe the stuff tho.

Use soft scrub. I use the stuff with lemon. Works great and doesnt harm the material. Use it with a scrub brush. DO NOT USE BLEACH WHITE that stuff is to harsh and will eventually break down the material. I have gotten the worst stains out with soft scrub.
