Marine plywood?

Interior question...if im going to resin coat the plywood for my seat bases doni need marine plywood?

There are 2 difference between marine and regular plywood. Fist is the glue used to attach the plys of wood. 2nd is the price. I ended using something called Baltic birch. It’s strong and light and easy to work with.

No sir. Use CDX.

The difference is that every single ply has the knot holes filled so there are no voids through the whole thickness.

Same exterior glue as CDX.

If you are going to coat it with resin, do a hot coat first, simply thin the resin with MEK or acetone to make it watery. Then do a normal viscosity coat on that. It soaks in much further and lasts forever.

I like to buy sanded one side of I want it to be pretty...
