So I started by ripping my interior today we'll see how this goes there's a first time for everything

I feel yeah, I redid my carpet and floor last winter. And all I planned on doing with cleaning the carpet if I would have had more money I would have redo the whole interior.

Ya I am re fiber glassing the seats to the hull and re building and rapping the seats

has anyone used or thought about using treated 2x6s for the base of interior seat i just want it to last.

Definitely. There is also a treated marine plywood for seats as well

ok ya i was gonna use marine plywood but i started think treaded 2x6s wouldnt be a bad idea for the seat bases

i am glassing my seat bases in this weekend should i use marine polyster resin or like home depot regular resin

its a step closer to being done go to wrap it up this week so i can hit the water saturday

no i had that done, i did everything else tho

Looks great! I am not sold on the glassing the seat bases, maybe it was my novice fiberglassing skills or my 6'2 250lb fat ass but, maybe two or three trips after I did mine it broke free from the base while I was looking over my shoulder, I since then used some brackets and then glassed over top of them just for extra assurance. I went alittle over kill with the brackets but it really sucked when my drivers seat turned into a recliner mid river haha

haha yeah it makes it look clean and stuff but just some small brackets and screws then throw some glass In between the brackets for extra support, your stuff looks great!
