Post by: 2savage4you on February 20, 2008, 05:42:03 AM
Ever used these guages ?     I need a set for the Bahner, and i cant really afford an expensive set like the autometer is what i really want.

I used a set very very similar to that set on the High Life. The ones I bought were black and cheaper than the ones you're looking at. I even bought my gauges from the same eBay seller!!!! I think I paid like $97 for a set of 6  :o  and I couldn't have been any happier with the set for the money spent.  ;)

2sav, that looks like an outboard set.  It has a trim gauge and no oil pres or fuel gauge.   Do you need a speedo ?  If not Tom has new sets of the Beede gauges in his parts catalog, cheaper than that set.  And thay dont say Advantage on them.  Remember you will have to add the price of oil press and fuel gauge to the Ebay set too. http://www.jetboatperformance.com/index.php?p=gauges

Good call, maybe I didn't look close enough at the set he was looking at, the set I bought had oil pres, water temp, volts, tach, fuel, trim/tilt, and I bought a seperate speedo that matched.

I spent a lot of time on the Beede website reading about the different gauges they offer and I was ready to order a set for my Jeep, but they have been slow to respond to email after talking on phone to a lady that wanted me to send a description of what I wanted so she could refer me to a vender that did automotive gauges
