Post by: 76NORDIC on December 19, 2007, 01:39:29 PM
Thot I had seen a thread when I was lurkin on HB, but thats out the window. Does anyone know where they sell em? Im lookin to get on for my 76 Nordic. One other question I had was does anyone know if the early Nordics came with the metal nordic insignias on the sides, thot I saw a pic with them about a year ago but dont remember where

You can get a splash guard made from Rodger Finney at Finney Plastics in havasu. He is a good friend of mine. He Probably has the mold for one already. If not he can still make you one.

76,
Here is a pic of my splash guard. I guess the previous owner put a hole in it for the bilge hose. I will TIG that up in the Spring maybe. I also want the badges like 1980Nordic has. My boat has the indents for them too.

I think thats a reasonable price for custom plastic work.

well he did say that he didn't have a templete for the Miller so he'd have to make it on the boat....but the price was said before he asked what kind of boat it was....he didn't seem too interrested in making it....A place in Mesa eh? hmm

Bergeron Engineering
1559 n Country Club
Mesa, Az 85201-2513
480-834-1531

The one i got was kinda a universal fit??, no holes drilled or anything and flat, i had to clamp it to the boat, make the bends and drill the mounting holes, not very hard to do at all, it was nice though because i could decide how high i wanted it to go, it fits very nice except in the corners, there is just a small gap, not noticable unless you look straight down at it and it does not allow very much water to enter there. i would buy the same thing again :)

I sell my custom make and fit splash guards for 450, but was giving Al a deal. I don't have to justify my pricing to anyone, but if you are looking for a cheap deal I have a flat fit most 1/8 lexan for 100.00. Rodger Finney, Finney Plastics and Powder coating, Lake Havasu

When I came to you I hadn't looked around and have checked around after that for custom fit guards....I posted something that I shouldn't have...I have also seen 2 of your custom guards and it is very good work....and I now know that your price is a good one....my head is hanging in shame.....I have learned a lesson....
