Title: Steering cable choices
Post by: Tylerjones on August 10, 2011, 10:48:49 AM
So here's the deal. Im in the market for a new steering system (Morse style) and from what I can gather there are two choices, Teleflex and Uflex. There is about $25.00 difference between the two so I couldn't imagine quality differing too much. I'm leaning more towards the Teleflex system as I know they effectively bought Morse and have been installed on many boats. Are there any cables that I am missing? What experience do you guys have with re-cabling? Any input would be appreciated.

No spacers, just a single piece hub. I believe both of the steering systems mentioned will accept adapters.
