Title: MercCruiser connection

I have a freind with an 18'6" 97 Monterey . It's got a 4.6 MercCruiser . Overheated cuz he was shit faced and let the Mrs. drive . He needs new heads so his mechanic says . Where do I look . I tryin to help him out .

Tell him Colby and Neil referred you. He has a lot of mercruiser junk lying around. Best place to start would be calling boat dealers/shops to see if they've replaced any engines that had the sides popped out of them when someone left water in the block on a cold night. The heads will probably still be good. That's how I'm getting the blocks to build tables, and they all want me to take the heads too.
