Title: "Burp my Bowl"?

I've got a Berkeley JG w/ a Place Diverter droop. It's all installed but it hasn't been in the water yet. How important is a bowl vent and how tricky would it be to install it?

I don't use them, but they can be tricky to burp.

As far as installing,  you really should have the bowl off so you don't drill into a stator vane.

I'm thinking this valve may not be wise to install now. Setting idle, temperature adjustments, timing,final valve lash. Yeah, thinking one "mistake" at a time.
