I am looking to see if anyone is local to orange county that would be willing to help change out a steering cable and assembly. Let me know, thanks

I'm in lahabra but my boat is in Ontario. I could bring it down here if needed. I have no clue how to remove it and don't feel like paying hundreds of dollars for labor

I'm in La Habra too. If you end up bringing the boat home, I'd be happy to come by and walk you through it. If you've got tools and you're a hands on kind of guy I'm sure you could do it with a little guidance.

I am pretty busy during the next few weekends but I could easily stop by on a weeknight and go over it with you if the boat was at your house.

There is a few people in the La Harbra area, and the local area around. I'm sure someone will be more than willing and able to work something out.

I was actually able to pull it out tonight. Now I just need to figure out exactly what system I have. What is the different before the Morse system and the other?

I can't find any part stamps on it anywhere

Morse is out, look for a Teleflex cross ref.

No idea what that is. It has teleflex stamped on it but no part number anywhere

I just ordered a new Teleflex steering system from Rex, mine will be going in tomorrow as well.

Got mine from rex as well. Install was smooth and easy and what a difference from what I had before. I needed two hands to turn the wheel before, now all I need it a finger haha
