Right know I have 3.250 nozzle insert.
Would I benefit from going smaller in nozzle size to achieve more mph ?
I do have a little horsepower probably 650 or more on the bottle ...
I'm thinking a 3.125 or so? Any input would be much appreciated !

it's certainly worth a try, especially if you can borrow an insert to see/verify. That being said, you may not necessarily notice the additional speed if any by seat of the pants. It might show up on a gps if your lucky. Typically insert changes are registered at the track in et. benefits. Are your AT nozzels dimensions specific to AT only or will they interchange with others? Are they larger OD than place diverters?

Yeah there larger OD than place diverter
I found 3-1/16 nozzle insert for 53 bucks ...

Too many things to factor in to be able to answer.
Rule of thumb;
The lighter the boat, the tighter the nozzle.

How did this turn out?
If you have a place diverter, is there the standard nozzle insert in there? I read you have to have the diverter machined so I figure its in there somewhere?

It's a American turbine diverter.. Nozzle came out bitchin... Just alittle lathe time lol
