Title: berkeley diverter quiestion

 gonna be getting a place diverter for my boat..what is the better way to go manual or hydraulic ?  which would give me the most up/down control ?  is the hydraulic set up reliable ? any suggestions are appreciated.  pump on my boat is a berkeley does not have a split bowl.  12jc ..

You will have more adjustment with a hydraulic diverter
