Title: Berkeley JB nozzle ring
Post by: Tahiti1971 on June 20, 2018, 05:52:19 PM
Hello all. New to the site here. Can anyone tell me if the JB uses a nozzle ring gasket? Can’t find much info on this other than diagrams that look like it does. My nozzle doesn’t have the snap groov for one.  Thanks

If you’re talking about the gasket that goes between the bowl and nozzle adapter, then it’s the same as a JG pump.

Thanks for the reply. It’s a white O ring that is supposed to snap on? I think mine might be worn so bad that the groove is gone.

Ohhhhhh, I see what you’re talking about. I was way off. I have a JB pump on a project boat. I’ll go dig into it and see if my nozzle is missing the groove as well. The JB, I believe, is an older pump by Berkeley. It think the JG was its replacement. It might have been before they used the plastic O-rings. Time to upgrade to a Place Diverter!!
