Diverter issue
« on: March 17, 2010, 12:22:54 AM »
Am I the only that has experienced this?
Twice the bolt that goes from the Diverter ram to the lower arm on the diverter nozzle has come off while on the water.
It makes reverse and slow speed manuverability almost nonexsistant.
I realized it while making my last lap around the lake when all the sudden I had no more up or down on the nozzle.
So this time I put a nut on the backside in hopes this cures my problem.
I've never read about this problem but I cant assume this has only happened to me.

Had a similar thing happen with the reverse bucket at Big River last year Omar. Ralph had a bolt a nylock nut that fixed it then. When I got home, I took it back out and used red loctite on it and put the nylock back on as well. No more problems!

I had the same problem , a nylock nut fixed it for me. When it came time to tear my last boat down I was amazed at how many little things were starting to come loose.   EVERYONE , CHECK YOUR SHIT ON A REGULAR BASIS!!!

Taco'd "a person or people that show up with one lake lice and a family of 50 and cram 3 people at a time on it with no disregard to boating rules or ethics. Usualy crap in toilets and throw shit paper in trash cans. Hang out at the boat ramp like its a swimming hole. Have zero insurance on anything they own and dont give two shits less about your property."
