Title: Berkeley rebuild question.
Post by: Hawaiian22 on April 24, 2012, 07:47:50 AM
Hello again.. I am wondering how much of a berk jet can be rebuilt on a bench out of the boat. Ive got everything out of the boat except the piece attached to the hull..  The intake piece on the bottom. Maybe someone can point me to a walkthrough or an instruction sheet somewhere.. Thanks.!!

Check here

I have a WJ Jacuzzi service manual, and its pretty much the same for Berk/Dom/A.T.
The best way is having it on the bench.

Hope that helps

Spline socket goes on the pump shaft, to be able to break impeller nut loose. I used a CJ7 t-case front yolk with a bar in the u-joint straps, its the same spline count/diameter  8)
I think the impeller nut is 1-3/8"or 1-5/8", I used a box end wrench and a 4' cheater bar.
