I have a "stupid " question, My 1979 Brad Haul has a Berkley 12JC-A pump that the rear bowl/transom cover just fits like crap, I don't know what is up but the previous owner had spaced it out from the transom with some plywood and it is a little too much of an angle for my boat (about 12 degrees), I will take a better picture and get it posted but does anyone have any ideas, I was going to make a deeper one using two covers cut and tigged together but seems a little back woods for me. O0 BTW the boats name is "White Trash". Thanks in advanced...

You probably need an angled transome adapter . I'm guessing .....

The transome cover on my boat was built using 2 berkeley covers and welded together. I will post a pic. you would not even know if i didnt tell you ;D

Forgot all about the pictures :-[
The pump is set back a little, which is why there is an issue, just looking to improve the covers fit.
Thanks in advanced.

I would check to see if maybe Jim Brock has the correct one! That would also give you a good reason to go to the long beach swapmeet on sunday!

Glenn from the pic it almost looks like theres enough room you could maybe eliminate the "spacer" ? or maybe make a fabricated plate and eliminate the TA all together ? OR maybe I could score another on of these ? Tom

Yup, looks like you need the other style. I know there are a few styles. I cannot see how someone set back a pump only an inch or two.
Here is mine. It looks a little different than your transome adapter.

That looks like it would work very well!, would probably have to do a name change though, if you get enough good stuff on the boat I guess its no longer "trash"!
How much do one of these units cost?
