pulled off my bowl today and all looks well no major damage from the back side at least so now to pull the impeller here were im green so I need to no what size wrench and do I need a puller .and do I check for tolerances now with the impeller in and what are they the problem im having is when accelerating out of the water hard im hitting the rev limiter which is set to 6000 rpm this never happened until I put a much higher HP motor in the pump is coming apart regaurdles if it looks good or not just figuring some one good give me some advise

Looks like you have an "A" impeller.
I set mine this past Jan 2013, at .025" f-r, and .012" r-l (radial), or .024" to .025" total (turned impeller skirt & oversized wear ring)
It was at ~.078" total, or .054" out of spec. Still had good performance, and there was no cavation 'out-of-the-hole' (then a huge rock took out a blade, severe cavation then) :o
Sounds like your impeller is Done

Will got the impeller out wear ring has slight wear on the topside only impeller has no rock damage mayby a little sand damage what next what do I do about all the little holes get a new one

Without the advantages of touch, taste, feel, smell, I am of the opinion that that impeller is done.
There are many signs of major cavitation that realistically cannot be repaired.
My recommendation would be pretty simple, get a new impeller and it's matching wear ring (I like Ultimate wear rings), a new thrust bearing, replace the bowl bearings and seal, new packing kit, check the shaft for straightness and inspect all the pieces and parts for cracks and put it back together.
The parts are cheap enough that this can be done on a budget and once back together will provide you years of dependable service and performance.
One word of caution, if you think you are even approaching 500 HP or 6,000 rpm, go with either a mag bronze or better yet a stainless impeller.
Good luck, the E is an OK pump, but if they will not load properly they will suffer worse than say a JG. The suction piece is real short and not real user friendly as far as modifications.

so the je serious pump not being all that great should I waste the 1000 or so dollars on a ss impeller and just put a new aluminum in HP is at 500 or greater at 5000 rpm. What are my options for changing impellers to a different cutt and what's my worse case scenario running the aluminum impeller !! Should I be looking into a loader as well !!!!!! Thank you for your advise much appreciated

A "loose" pump will make you spin more RPM than it should. My Southwind 18 would spin 6000 rpms with a stock 460 ford with an A Imp, rebuilt the jet and it went down to 5100. Do you know where your motor makes peek HP? If you do then you can determine what cut impeller you need. I have a stainless b- for sale if you are interested.

There is nothing "wrong" with yge JE Pump. Just a really short intake ramp. If it has an issue, it will likely be with loading.
You can save a few beans by going bronze. IMHO you should steer clear from another aluminum.
Set it up snug, put it back together and beat it like it owes you money....
