Title: Best Silicon to use?
Post by: Hddaddy on March 20, 2011, 08:26:28 PM
Simple question, whats the best silicon to use? Need to reseal around the transome. I have a Legend pump. Got a little leakage. I think a fresh bead of silicon will fix the issue.

If you are going to try and reseal the TA without pulling it off, I would recommend using 3M's Marine silicone. By far the best out there.

It's called 3M 5200 Fast Cure, and it is super aggressive.
