ok so after haveing major problem with this motor n alot of research i n my other buddies have found that this is a must .due to the fact that it regulates water pressuer from pump to motor very expencive lession learn anyone have a diagrame on how this truely works .n whats the diffrence between running a gate valve n a pop off valve .are they the same n function the same ??????????????????????any oppions our experiance with this would be helpful thanks n sorry if its a dumb qestion :screwy:

I am just going to say this out loud and only once... I will then leave it alone.
You do not need a relief valve. They are not rated at the flow that your pump can produce anyway... You had too few "holes" in your dump lines....
That being said, it goes directly after the isolation valve right off the pump.

ok rember guys im new at this but thanks .and there is no iso vale at the pume there only a old gate valve that who ever worked on the boat befor us they didnt hook back up......... wellthaNKS ANYWAYS I SURE HOPE WE DIDNT BLOW 120 BUCKS FOR NOTHING THEN GEWTTING ONE .anyways thanks guys i gusse well have to play with it n see what happens.

First off its a bypass valve. A blow off valve goes on a turbo. What a lot of guys do is run extra dump lines or bigger dump lines. If you have 2 in lines, and 2 out lines that are bigger in diameter than the in's you can't over pressure. Ya follow?
And hook that gate valve back up.
