I've got a 20' 1977 Tarva with a 460 ford, Berkeley jet, holly 750 carb.
Was out today with the family and at 3500 rpm towing 2 little girls on a airhead raft and was at best going 25.
Motor seems good. It's not over heating or smoking.
Pump was clear when I got my hand in the intake.
What should I be looking at
I know it's not gonna be the fastest boat on the water but she just seems dogging.

Check to see if the throttle goes all the way open on the carb ? Check ur floats on the carb to see if they are stuck .
