Title: Bowl fixable?
Post by: eliminator18 on January 17, 2016, 03:44:45 PM
So the last time out I sucked up some rocks, I was able to get them out, but it had a real bad vibration, so I take the bowl off today to find the impeller is broken and the inside of the bowl dinged and scratched up. I know I need to replace the impeller, but can the bowl be saved?

Bowl looks to be salvageable.  Did you remove a stuffing plate?

Is that an aluminum impeller?  Hard to tell from a phone picture.

What bowl?

Holy hell. I can see where the vibration was coming from..  I agree with gt  bowl doesn't look to bad, a little filling down the ding of the veins .

Bummer that was an MPD impeller.  Was it detailed on the front?
