Title: bowl interchange
Post by: Patch on July 30, 2013, 09:21:47 AM
Will a Berkley bowl interchange with an American Turbine AT-309 bowl. I t!oasted mine this weekend. Wear ring is loose with new insulator and the vanes are pretty jacked up. I dont have any picks. Want to find a resonable replacement to get back on the water.

I should of proof read last post. The wear ring will slip in and out very easily with new insulator into suction housing. I can push it in and out by hand. is there a cure for this condition? Or am I screwed. My  bowl is still jacked and in need of a replacement.

What kind of Berkeley bowl you looking for. C bowl or split bowl?

A split if everything is a direct change over.

Are Berkeley bowls interchangeable with AT?

I think so? It might tell you on the Berkeley website?

The wear ring is in the suction housing, not the bowl.

The AT bowl will bolt to a berk suction, but the OD is larger and you'll need a different transom adapter
