You need a replacement bowl. Yours is not split which is much cheaper than a split bowl, used. Check eBay maybe?

i did not look that close but if steering still works, you can go to the nearest wal mart and get 6 oars or enough for all people seated in the boat, when you need to go backwards shut off engine and paddle backwards think of all the gas savings  ;D

someone correct me if i am wrong....but cant you just do a split bowl conversion on this then slap a place diverter on it?

might be your most logical route.

but you cant pass up free (if thats what beerjet intended)

Yes Brad, you can do the conversion on the C bowl. They work very well also I have 5 out right now, including the one on my boat. They cost right around $350 to do plus all the other items you may need, (Droop, wedges, studs or bolts longer cables, and diverter). A new aggressor bowl is about $500 or so.

I would be more than happy to take that broken bowl off your hands Tom !

I'm freakin' ready brother... marcsrollin is out on the water today testing his Tahiti. He just paid a mechanic to finish it so it should be good to go. Funny, before he paid to get it fixed he had me go out with him to try and test/fix it, he forgot all the tools that day, and now that it's fixed he takes someone else with him.   :'(  whaaaaaaaaa   :'(

 ;D

Yeah Tom949 is going to need more than just a bowl if he goes to a split bowl, that's a project that could get expensive quick! Get a one-piece bowl and call it a 1/2 day, 1/2 day's work and a 1/2 day on the water. 0.02

No, I got dumped. What happened to this thread and when are we going to Tom's Farm?

I just talked to Marc on the phone, he just got back from the lake with his Tahiti and he sounded "happy"!

Curious question, why the wedge with a place divertor?

That pic kind of looks like a standard split bowl?

I thought you were referring to modifying a 1-piece bowl into a 2-piece? If so, who is performing the bowl modification? And do you have pics of the modification process?

I bought one of those at the Big 3 swapmeet (I no longer have it). The guy told me that him and his friend used to modify those one piece bowls to the split bowl, but he said they don't do that anymore. Probably more than one company doing that conversion though.

I thought of making some for $ but then I remembered I don't have a tig welder. So if anyone out there wants me to build them one just buy me a $3500 tig welder and I'll get right on it.   ;)

Thank you for your compliment on the looks of the bowl.  That is a 1-piece bowl that I converted.  This bowl has been used in the Parker 300, all this season racing (starting in November) and pleasure use.  I have not heard anything from my other bowl customers, I take no news as good news.  I did not have time to do a bowl mod pic diary but I will on the next one.  Which will be very soon.

Hey Jim, that looks sweeeeet..   ;)

Curious question, why the wedge with a place divertor?

I needed to lower the centerline of thrust.   With my boat set up this way, it works the best.  I would have never tried it but the ass end looked like it was stuffed into the water.

Knowing what is involved(in terms of equipment and labor), I will once again ask, "who actually performed the conversion?"
