Now that I replaced the pump shaft pump wear ring installed an inducer and a new loader should I put a bowl stuffer in it or not am I going to gain enough to make it worth the price

Not knowing your exact combo, it's hard to give a definite yes or no. But I will tell you that every little bit helps. A stuffer is just another piece to the performance puzzle. Seat of the pants difference in a lake boat? Prob not. Time slip difference in a drag boat, good chance yes.

And I see there are many different types of stuffers the one I was looking at is a from Berkeley by the time it gets shipped here will probably be a little over $200 I have a 1978 Ford 460 Miley built probably around four hundred horse I'm running a and power with an inducer it has a divider on it I've also heard people talking about this particular stuff that you could have an oil leak because you're drilling into the oil passage of the pump housing

other than looking pretty i really dont think the cone does anything....
5 dollars in material and you cna have someone make you a stuffer that fits a lot better after measuring your impeller to bowl clearance.

In your case, like I said before, I'd be surprised if you noticed a "seat of the pants" difference in performance by adding a stuffer. as far as drilling in the oil passages, that's in correct. If someone did that then they drilled incorrectly.
Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?

The four counter-bored holes towards the center of that Berkeley billet stuffer are for attachment. Drilling and tapping in that intended location breaks through into the oil reservoir of a Berkeley bowl. The instructions direct the use of silicone on the threads to prevent leaking. It would be better to drill and tap the perimeter for 10-24 countersunk screws like in Steve's picture.
The concept behind that Berkeley billet stuffer plate is that it displaces as much volume as possible, particularly around the back of the impeller hub. Water will churn, generating fluid friction. The tight-fitting stuffer removes a large volume of that water. Not sure there is any difference between that and the plate style other than about 3.5lbs of aluminum. I can tell you that most of the record holding boats have a plate style stuffer.
I don't believe that installing a stuffer can be detrimental (except for drilling into the oil reservoir). I do think there are better areas to spend money on that offer more performance per dollar spent. I think Brian is absolutely right, you will most likely never notice the difference.

I didn't pay too much attention to where that Berkeley stuffer bolt holes went through. Looking at it now, yes using that one will drill into the oil passage and possibly create a leak. If you were to install a stuffer, i'd go with the plate style.

Like i said, its about 5 dollars in material
Actually i bought the material for mine and a "new pre cut" 12" x 1" aluminum round bar for $5.30 at ims
Easy to make yourself. If you have the bowl off, it cant hurt

a local machine shop would probably do it cheap

The ones I have read about that have a flat stuff for in them you have to turn the Impaler down from what I understand

No need to turn the impeller down to install a stuffer.

If you have to turn the impeller down to clear a plate, either; 1, the impeller is too far rearward, or 2, the bowl has been milled and you don't need it.
Either way, measure everything, with dimensions it all a crap shoot.
Don't forget to allow for the gasket.

Honestly, that is the problem with the World Wide Web.
Nobody ever came up with a good bullsh!t detector.
Don't be afraid to ask questions.
You'll get several answers, but most of the time of its in a forum, someone will call BS, just make sure they can back it up.
Most important, have fun, otherwise, what's the point?

Just got my bowl back from the shop putting my modified stuff for it didn't have to drill any holes in the oil passages this way

Looks like it will work, but man....a little overkill on the mounting bolts. 3 or 4 would of been plenty.

Well I'd rather be Overkill they're not have enough so it is what it is and the new pumps spec. Out just right so I'm very happy

It's been a long walk to get to this point I'm looking forward to finishing up the pump this evening and starting on the new wiring for the engine
