Title: Cable steering???

Hi all, been gone a while but i am back now.
Looking at a boat with cable pulley steering and not sure if it is a good thing or does it get pulled and put in a single morse style cable.

Calgo steering is what that is its a nice upgrade

I just bought a boat with the same set up. I was also curious if it's a nice set up or not. I've never seen it before
