Can't get my intake out

Well I tore out my pump today and now I'm having a problem taking out the intake it has the white putty around it and tried a jack and didn't budge

You have to warm it up with a little propane torch on the intake side witj the jack under it with alittle pressure

A jack by itself will not even start to move a properly installed intake  :screwy:

You need to start cutting through the epoxy with a cut off wheel, chip away at it with a chisel, and then with some heat try the jack after you start to get through the epoxy.  It's a total pain in the ass and make you realize why shops get "so much money" for something so simple.  ;)

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
