Need help removing a Berkeley pump to do transom work

Well I am replacing the transom in my 82 bahner and I have never taken a pump out and I broke my collar bone so I have sum time off and want to get this project done if u have any info or can lend a hand that would be great I'm in costa mesa

Start disconnecting the cables and hoses.. take off the transom adapter.. unbolt the pump from the intake (16 or 18 bolts don't remember) and the whole thing slides out.. its pretty light weight too.. may need a putty knife to break things free from the gaskets.
