Title: Can you change hydraulic turbine trim to manual control
Post by: Patch on May 31, 2013, 03:32:50 PM: Has anyone ever converted hydraulic turbine trim to cable operated controls. Looks like you would need a different arm where the ram hooks up to install a cable operated system. Tired of the slow pump and the hassles of bleeding the system. Cable seems faster and less maintenance. Any and all opinons are welcomed.

30xxBC (xx is the length, BC is Bulkhead) cable is all I think, no other mods I'm aware of short of drilling the tiller arm. Can swap a manual to a hydraulic almost as simply. ;)

JMO, and I know B-rad has his issues with that.

But get the boat dimensions at home and GO from there. get our best price. You ain't gonna beat $125 for all three cables or $149 for all four............
