How do I mount my control cable with this setup?

It takes a 43c cable, a cable clamp up top and a universal hookup at the bottom, I have all the parts, Jim

I finally found a pic of the same setup late last night and saw the little like u joint connector and realized I had one in a box of old rusty hardware I had, but I never had a clue what the heck it was for. Got up late last night and found it and got it to work today. Thanks for the help
