Title: Dominator 12-S bowl removal
Post by: KansasJet on May 09, 2012, 08:18:02 AM
Fellas i am having trouble getting bowl off to replace the gaskets. Ive removed the nozzel housing. Once thats removed theres a cone looking deal right in the middle. On some diagrams it shows a nut with a greese zert. I cant get the cone off. would This keep the bowl from coming off and is it treaded into the shaft? i can get it about 3/4'' out but then thats it. Does it just need a good massage with a rubber mallet? Thanks for any info!!!!!!

the little cone is just the cap for the rear pump shaft bushing, it don't hold it on, there should be bolts on the back side that hold the intake to the bowl. you have the remove those to seperate the the two housings. hope this helps.

yea, if all the bolts are out its just needs to be fanegalled out. probably just the gaskets holding it together
