Is there anyone who is qualified to or even knows anything about Drake pumps?

You need to hook up with Jim Brock. He's on this board and owns Cyclone Marine. Don't have his number but here's his email...

One of our "regulars" Rich (21 Mirage with a Drake) says he took his Drake jet to Jack Mcclure (MPD) a couple years back for complete overhaul. Riches boat runs very well and he seems really satisfied with the work . What weve found on Drake (we actually have complete a jet here in a box) is that they were very "limited production" venture (serial #s weve seen are in the low hundreds)  by Drake (Drake/Offenhauser fame) and within the limited production there appear to be several variations in parts . The one we have actually has "trim" and a three blade bronze Impeller. Im sure in the right hands this jet could be repaired to work real well Tom
