How much is too much out of that sleeve?

Can't see how long it is but the rule of thumb I have always gone with is half way or less!

No tighter than 3/8" from bottoming, no further out than 30%.

Yea I think where I'm at I'm not even ode to half out. Maybe more like a quarter of fully bottom

Yeah if you have it to much in there  and it's tight u will work the back bearing in the motor when the motor thrust back
