Can almost see our trailer in the background there ;D
The water looked very very low... suprised you didn't hit the sandbar that's usually there on the left!.... Maybe it's moved by now, it's been a while for me :'(
sounds like youre just trying to get more pin angel. a droop does give pin angel, but theres different ways to achieve that. obviously using wedges is one way....also you can get a rooster booster. I believe ARS marine has them available still....i havent seen them offered 'new' anywhere else.
also, place makes a 'mini' droop....gives you the pin angel, but doesnt drop your thrust line as deep.
The sandbar popped out of nowhere! :banghead: (I hit it, but it was on the right)
There comes a point where your boat will only be a Great roost maker and basicly "undriveable" under most circumstances , (not enough "down trim to drive normally) The Rooster Booster was abandoned by place diverter years ago , guess ARS picked it up , I know it looks cool to make the big roost but much above a few feet off the H20 is of no practical use Tom
The video with the Rooster Booster is out of control!
I just want to get to where you are in the first Vid.
I have a 3 degree wedge if you need one.
I should just put on the third wedge (3 degree) and so how it rides and looks. Adding three separate wedges shouldn't make the middle wedge weak/unsafe?
Its a little hard to get my diverter lever locked in on the last position, does it look like a tension problem? I checked the cable on the lever and diverter and nothing is rubbing.....
The amount of wedges should be OK the type we sell (you have ) seal well , re the diverter , sd's lile an adjustment issue ? call me Tom
dont mean to thread jack but brad will the rooster booster only work with a split bowl pump or will it work with a berk jc pump?
thanks gt. any other options to work in conjunction with a diverter to get more roost with a jc pump?Yes but not recomended :sly:
