Title: Droop? Wedge?
Post by: jamminjetta on July 04, 2016, 10:09:56 PM
Ok here's my setup on a carrera. Would a droop help and where to get one. What about the wedge?

Mini or straight... Mini has 1/2"droop with roughly 3* pin. Straight will have further exit ( giving better leverage) in 0 or 4* pin. I like the 4* pin an ad a wedge if needed...

Since you have a diverter, I would flip the wedge (wedge it DOWN) then take it out to see how it responds. I can see where you would pick up a couple inch drop in the thrust line at the nozzle effectively lifting the transom. Won't cost you anything and could be a good indicator of what to expect from a more aggressive droop.
