I'm doing a energizer on my panther, can you guys tell me the best way to a monster rooster?
-
Oh how much was that conversion 3000 and no replies to get a rooster tail. Weak. Well you don't need a high rooster tail to go fast. What will be best about that job will be you can now have an adjustable nozzle for trim. now I can make more HP on your motor and your pump won't hold U back by reaching it's limit then cavitating on U

I Energized my Panther 2 years ago, best $ I spent on my boat. To answer your roost question, I am running a droop and Place Diverter. The pic below is w/o Place Diverter.

How much did the kit set you back if you dont mind me asking....now that place diverter has a conversion kit I kinda wanna know if its worth dropping the extra cash on an energizer for minimal gains

Total cost with Energzer kit and Place diverter was $3K +/-.
IMO, Worth every penny. Picked up 9.2 MPH (GPS) and lowered rpms on an average of 1K across the board. Cruising at 30 MPH was @ 4000 RPMs, now 3000. My mild build 468 peaks at 5100 RPM running an "A".

I did the aggressor conversion.. Love how it went together and all the help from Tom @ jet boat performance, I had a drama on this build and he hung in there and helped me greatly.

I do have some Concerns about the pitch of the drive line.. I switch the 3 point out to the glenwood 4 point and had some problems lining up.. How close do I have to be?
Or how much of a angle can the driveline be at before it Vibrates? I'll post pictures when I get home tonight

I got burned a few times on this build and cost me almost twice to build it.. I'm starting to get over it now and starting to enjoy the project more and have already started looking for a flaty. (I miss my 65 Howard)
Thank you for the compliment!!

This is with a short snoot and 4 deg wedge.
GPS 68.4 at 4500
52 right before the Secondaries.
I put the wedge on because I want a little my tail and I had to have the diverter 1/2 up to free up the nose, now I'm 2 up and still have plenty of control..
