Title: How bad is this?

This doesn't look good a lot of bronze wonder if this could be the cause of my idle overheating

Something is pretty loose... And yes, the cause for the overheat IMHO.

The nut holding the impeller came loose  it was hand tight, I figure this pump is shot?

It had no punch out the hole whatsoever at 2500 it just planed till about 3500. After parking and going back out the temp would shoot to 200 in the no wake and keep climbing till I would take off

Will adding the epoxy fix this issue? It has excessive play
