This broke today how big of a repair job is it
-
What a gnarly looking pump.
Is it just the packing gland?
Piece of cheese. Take about 10 minutes with part in hand.
-
Question is, why did it break?
-
Looks suspiciously like the pump got submerged. If so, the thrust bearing will be full of water. It should be flushed and repacked before corrosion sets in. If it does, it won't be long before the thrust bearing fails.

Was towing in someone and heard loud pop was only idling and flushed pump is just a crappy paint jub was like that when I bought it
