OK-

Pull the bowl, then the impeller. (I found it easier to pull the impeller while still in the boat)
Then pull the pump, because the shaft comes out the front of the suction housing. (unless the motor is out, anyways)
next is the bearing housing, comes off the rear of the shaft.
there is a bearing retainer clip on the rear of the bearing.
I had to take the shaft and the new bearing to a machine shop to get the old one pressed off and the new one pressed on.
After some new seals, (remember which way they originally went), a new wear ring (a MUST at this point) assembly is reverse of tear down.
Having the impeller detailed at this point is a good idea too.
Be sure to check the condition of the rear bowl bushing and seal, too.
Shimming the impeller is done by shimming the front bearing housing away from the suction housing, using 'machined' washers

I used to have the bearing # and seal #'s from King bearing, I'll have to look for them.
I have the full shop manual from NAMJ, circa 1982 (all typewritten  :screwy: )
Any Q's , let me know...
