I am going to set my intake this weekend and was wandering how much sea goin' poxy putty I'll be needing and if anyone would want to lend a hand that be great I'm in Costa Mesa

When I did mine I used one quart of both the epoxy and the catalyst. I used all of it. Did you degree your intake and all that? I'm sure u kno as I did a ton of research before doing the install. I also roughed up the area around the intake cut out for the epoxy to bed into. Use tape on the outside perimeter to tool to so when u peel it off ul have a nice strait line it'll make your intake look really nice. It's a little messy but if your careful Itl come out tits

I'm waiting to get my pump back from jack at MPD but I have done sum research so far and I see that it's 4* to the stern

The suction surface should be 4* to the strakes right next to the shoe. The front of the intake should be slightly above the keel so that you can blend the transition of the glass into the intake. If the front of intake hangs below the glass, while the suction surface is at 4* to the stakes, raise the entire intake evenly.
Jack is really good about supporting his customers. You should ask him when you pick up your pump.

Jack is great with the help I'm over there all the time I ride my bike there sum times and just talk to him and pick his brain very smart man

right....but i believe the process is the same....just ignore the set back part.
...and all the blue printing. he spent a lot of time making sure the bottom was as true as he could get it. aside from that....all info i have found lines up with his thread.
