Identify this bowl stuffer Plz. I WTB one thanks any lead would be good

Looks like a modified Aggressor stuffer installed in a large bolt-circle Dominator bowl.

Thanks do you know by any chance if there still available like that. I like that it doesn't drill in to you bearing cavity

There was a thread recently where an ultimate stuffer plate was modified to bolt around the perimeter. Looks like it came out pretty good.

I think this would be the closest you will get to what you want without making a custom part.

I would like to see the back side of that one in the link you posted. Did they weld the machined ring on the back side of that stuffer ?

You shouldn't hhave to do any welding. It's not going to create a seal, stuffer plates just fill volume behind the impeller so you don't get a lot of churning water in that area. Anyway, you need clearance for the impeller nut.
I don't want to dissuade you from having your fun, but in practice, it's hard to beat a simple plate to fill the gap. And it weighs about 3lbs less.

If we're just talking tenths of a second with the difference in Stafford plates that's not really what I was looking far so it sounds like a plate might be my Best option. I just liked the way the one I had showed backfilled the impeller so there is less water friction as possible.
How thick of a plate generally do you need. Just asking so I know what kind of piece of flat plate I'm going to be buying for this project to start with

Use some modeling clay to get the distance from the bowl edge to the impeller back, that's the number your shooting for. I go up to the nearest 1/8" and mill down the outer perimeter to get the proper clearance, which is somewhat debatable.

How thick depends largely on how your pump is set up. A shouldered wear ring decreases thickness by about 1/8". Tighter clearance increases thickness. Every pump is different.
Mine range from 3/16 to 3/8" depending on what scrap we have laying around, then turn a step to fit.
If you have access to a lathe, you can make a pseudo labyrinth seal by by turning a thicker piece to fit your impeller. Try to keep a minimum clearance of .025.

Good info I will make it I do have access and experience with the machines. Generally do you try to make the labyrinth seal on the lip that is going into the impeller rather than a flat surface bolting onto the bowl? That seems to make the most sense to me
