I was checking out the impeller in a boat I recently bought and it looks pretty banged up. I was hoping someone could tell me if this could be repaired or if I need to buy a new one. Thanks guys!

Looks pretty bad
I'd take it out inspect for cracks
And check the wear ring.
The other side could be worse than that.

use a file to clean it up . Take your time . It's a little bit of work. There's a couple threads on here about cleaning up the blades ..

Doesn't really look bad at all. We repair those all the time.
As stated, it really needs to come out to be inspected. Chances are, the bowl has some dings also.
Equally important is the wear ring clearance. The diameter on the front of the impeller should be 7.225 and the wear ring ID should be 7.250

Thanks guys I appreciate all the input! Hey Flusher... How much do you charge to fix an impeller like mine?
