I have a 78 Tahiti which needs a new floor and transom. It has a panther jet. Since I need to remove everything I was thinking about installing a new pump. A berkley pump.
Question
How do I do it??
I take out the panther intake but where do I install the new intake? Is there a certain location?? How do I know where to install the new one?? Are there measurements??
Do I cut the hole in the transom just big enough so the pump will go through or is there a certain size it needs to be??
If I am missing something let me know.
Pictures are always nice.

I called Tom and he’s a very nice guy. He gave me a couple options that are very reasonable. I am going with his kit. Thanks for the help. I plan on doing more with him in the future
