pump ID

Might be a silly  and dumb a** question, but can anyone post pics of how to tell the difference immediately from a Jacuzzi, Panther, Dominator or Berk from a pic. For some reason, in my search and destroy for parts everyone wants to sell me another boat. I never had a boat before this one, and now it seems I may well end up with multiples that need work. The deals are pretty good. Sound familiar anyone?? Some of them honestly, look damn nice compared to the money pit I found myself in, but I'm kind of dead set on Berk pumps, don't ask me why, I don;t even know anything about them.

I must have gone through mine 3 times and paid 4 times in rebuilds and rework and freshening what I originally paid for the boat to begin with .
Berks being the most copied makes them the most desirable .
Also the aftermarket is on your side there .
Kind of like what the aftermarket has done for the BBC .

As far as your hull is concerned , you'll be hard pressed to find a hull that handles choppy water and decent power as well as yours does .
Not to mention anything better will cost you alot more .

Hopefully Tom or someone else with the appropriate pictures can put them up for you to understand .

IR from a strictly visual standpoint Dom , Berk, AT,Aggressor and Baracuda jets look about the same , Jacuzzi WJ's look similar to those also , Panther jets and Jacuzzi YJ jets look different and  The Berk and AT "insert jets "E" etc are unique, most of that type jet are set outside the hull My Home office desk top is at the "nerds" and I'm working from my LT (puny key board ,no data ) but I'll post up pics later , this will actually make a good "pump" ID Blog for my M/Spage too We have an enormous amount of pics I'll post up more later ...Tom

(PS  the operation ,efficiancy and service of the jets is a completely diffent thing)
heres a Panther

this ia another Panther (less shroud)

this is the same boat ,with a set back Dom

Standard Berk set up

Drake jet

Berkely 12je (insert)

Berk/Dom/AT/Aggressor/Hybrid with extreme set back  ;D
