Title: JB Weld Removal

I would like to remove this fitting on the pump so I can add a nipple and gate valve to pump. Looks like it’s on there with JB weld... is the best way to remove it with heat? Torch really quick? Safe ?? Will it damage anything else? Will it melt away any other silicone around pump? Thanks in advance..

Try some penetrating lube like aerokroil let set for a bit torch and get at it with a 12 point socket and ratchet if that don’t get it I got  nothing.

Ill try one more time with that if not ill wait until the seasons over just incase the worst happens . Thanks
