Hi guys,
On my first jet boat and been doing testing trying to get her dialed in! Was out on Elsinore last night (adjusting carb), I knew I had a small leak somewhere and found a streak coming in through the transom where the steering cable passes through. Looked on the outside of the transom and noticed a soft white washer/seal of some kind. It has dried out and cracked on the edges. I may be able to get away with tightening the nuts but I'd rather replace for peace of mind.
Any idea on where to get these? Can I use any kind of soft washer that fits or am I missing something important here? Can't seem to locate on the web anywhere...
Thanks for the help
Dan

If your near elsinore, elsinore marine should be able to help you out. They got a special boot I needed for my steering cable that caused a leak.
