JC isn't a split bowl , maybe a JB . I've heard roger's like the droop snoot. Cough up the money for it and if you dont like it , odds are you can most of your money back by selling it . Dont for get about your steering either .

Assuming nothing has changed since it was first put together, The tag on top of your pump . The oval tag has three spaces where the info is stamped.

Top is your mogel number, more than likely it's gonna say  12JB - A

The "A" represents the impellor you have .

ok took it out for a run... can't get over 60mph.  I have a rogers, cyclone w/455 olds full roller w/ jb pump and diverter..
diverter is up about 3 to 4 feet of the water and top speed rpm is 4200. how do i get to 80? shoe kit , loader, c impeller, snoop, what do you think? oh yeah and a 3 deg. wedge...

Theres the culpret more than likely . They dont like alot of RPM unless they are built to do so . I dont think a C impellor is going to help you either . 4200 rpm and 60 sounds close to me . Check your timing and fuel delivery . I dont know what olds like so I'm of absolutly no help at this point . It should turn more RPM though. Get the motor running right first .

Second , how fresh is the pump . I've been plagued with pump problems and if they are worn out or clearances are too loose they will not work very well . Once you get the motor running good , then you get a better idea as to what impellor you have and be alot closer to the 80 mark . Get what you have running right first , then worry up upgradeing . Oh yeah , and open up your wallet real wide .  ;D
