I have a 1978 crusader with a panther pump I had it blue printed and balanced by ADM boats in garden grove around 10 yrs ago. He also put a place diverter on it which after the fact I was told by the factory panther tech over the phone this is like modifying ford heads to bolt up to a Chevy motor . I am still searching for more speed and performance does anyone have any idea if doing this conversion will help gain me more speed or performance

If your boat is in need of a motor freshen up and/or interior redone... look into another boat with a berk... 2500-3500 for entire boat full stringer bbf/bbc berk pump.

The motor is very strong but have been thinking of a cam change and upgrading to like a 200 shot of nitrous

Might be able to score a full stringer good hull with berk pump minus motor 1500-2500

I'm not sure the panther will benefit from the bump in HP. There have been several on here @ 400 hp or so.
Rather than 'energizing' the panther (ouch$$$), I'd find a used Berk/Dom/American Turbine pump and swap it out.
But I like building/fabbing...
