CLOSE OFF HOLE TRANSOM ADAPTER ??
« on: May 25, 2014, 07:59:01 PM »
Hi Guys,

Maybe someone could shoot me some ideas here? I have a Jacuzzi YJ with the hydraulic trim, I've removed the hydraulic trim ram that sits on the top of the jet and replaced it with a Trim Cap (for now). I pulled the hydraulic hoses out which run through the transom adapter until I can get new hydraulic lines. (hoses blew out) So now that I've done that I am left with a 1 1/2" hole in the transom adapter. What would you guys suggest I use to block off this hole?

Thanks

You should be able to get a 1 1/2" rubber expandable freeze plug from your local auto parts store that would be a good temporary fix for that.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
