Title: No forward or reverse

Hey I'm new here got my first jet boat a year ago, replaced seals and bearing on Berk 12jg a and now when I put it in the water I have no forward or reverse at first like air is trapped please help

does it have a droop? How are you launching it?

Yes it does. . . I don't back in fast or anything I have tried leaving it tied to the dock for a couple minutes to see if that would help but it don't, I've asked a few people that have had jets for years but no one has ever heard of this

A rock or something else in the impeller? Missing woodruff key?

No, could the rope seals or anything else I did to it make it do this? But in forward or reverse with throttle does nothing then all of a sudden it will go

. This is normal with s droop. You can open the bucket up and back in faster it helps a little. If you don't like it you can install a air bleed.  Most of us are use to it.
