Title: Place Diverter
Post by: flames on July 01, 2014, 06:23:17 PM

How do I get a bigger rooster tail out of my boat? I have a 12JE pump with stock place Diverter. Any Ideas can I shave the top of pump that it hits on?

There isn't much you can do with a E pump. You cant put a wedge on that pump because there is no bolt pattern.

You'd have to switch to a split bowl to use a wedge.

Slot the top of the nozzle...  8)

Reverse will suck though...

Same thing as the E pump. You really cant do much because you can not add wedge to it kike a split bowl (G)

That's what I thought. Grinding or anything else won't buy you much the be noticeable. Next boat will have a pump that I can add a wedge to.

I was in the same boat (pun intended) then I just got over it. But I also will have JG on the next boat... The diverter on my JC does what I need it to do

Yep I hear you on the roost here's a je pump with a place diverter and that's as high as it will go. But sure makes the boat drive better.

I know. I didn't think it would be that noticeable but it really frees up on smooth water.
